About the Role
The SLPA will provide direct therapy services and assist with communication programs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Youll work closely with students, families, and educators to deliver high-quality interventions that promote meaningful progress in speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities

Provide speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.

Support individualized education program (IEP) implementation and student goals.

Maintain accurate session notes, data collection, and progress reports.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to create inclusive communication environments.

Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing support initiatives.
Qualifications

Active or pending Texas SLPA license.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or Speech-Language Pathology.

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
